Linda, my sincere apologies, the correct name of the transcript is "Alice Williamson Diary,1864" Gallatin, Tenn. I think you can search (I use Yahoo Search) "Women in the Civil War" at Duke University and find the brief writings of Alice. Scann down the page and you will find the name: Alice Williamson, just click on and the diary and information about Alice pops right up.

I try to read as many of these diaries as possible....quite a trip back in time.
