Quite interesting to say the least.
As I teach second grade, I am pretty good at figuring things out. But, not this. What exactly does it say?
Understanding that many people in our nation were not educated at the time, where was this man from? Was he an "educated ex-slave?"
I do get enough of the message to know that he meant business about their behavior but it was confusing to me and if the people could read, I am sure it was to them.
