My 3rd Gr. Grandfather was Samuel Anderson,Uncle of William C. Anderson from Stone County, MO. He was married to Betsy McKinsie and had family (All daughters)in Mo. THis family of Anderson's is not the Family of William T. Anderson also known as Bloody Bill Anderson of Quantrill Raiders Of the Civil War.

I believe William C. Anderson was involved and killed some men near Stone County, Mo.and went South to Texas to start a new life with his family in Brown County,Texas. I have found not a trace of his war record and believe he may have layed low and just raised kids and some hell near the end of his life when he shot another man over land. Records are out there for anyone to read.

He was just plain ole "Windy Bill" Folks. Nothing more .
