Gary--is that Jan 1, 1865 a "by name" roster, or only by number? My GGrandfather, Jesse K. ("Knighten" and sometimes spelled phonetically as "Nighten") DuBose was listed as 1st Sgt, Co K of Bourland's Regt. in 1864. I can find nothing on his CSA service after October 1864.

Patty R. has kindly provided me some information on him, including a copy of a "morning report" which he signed as "first shirt" but there's a void between the fall of 1864 and his murder in 1866. Don't know if he was part of the formal surrender of the Regt. in May 1865 or if, like many others, he simply headed home to his wife and children without the formality of a parole.
