I would expect that many, if not most or all, of these men were well aware of Bill Anderson's 1924 interview to Henry C. Fuller since versions of this revelation were published all across Missouri and Texas in newspapers, was published in a few major national magazines of the time, and was even widely discussed among Bill's wartime comrades. None are recorded as ever raising any doubts of the authenticity of Colonel Anderson's word on the subject. I remind our readers that this list of twenty are only some of the names of guerrillas who survived the Fuller Interview so our work continues to locate even more using census data, death records, and other research tools.
