You need to obtain the service record files for these men as there's some rich material there.

Here is just a sample of what I found for Pvt. Simeon looking at only 3 of the 12 records in his file.

Simeon P. Pennington, Co. K, 10 Texas Infantry, died in General Hospital, Petersburg, Va April 9/10, 1863 of Dephthria having been admitted April 6. "His brother being present at the time of his death, his effects were handed to him." "Paroled Prisoner." Captured January 11, 1863 at Arkansas Post, Paroled at Camp Douglas, Ill., April 1, 1863 and delivered at City Point, Va April 7, 1863, notation "Sick in Hospital," is lined through and replaced by "Helpless."

You will find at the top of this page how you may obtain them. They will be found in Microform M323 Roll 341.
