Re: Answer Texas Confederate Indigent Families Ind

William,

Thanks a bunch. Eight dependents matches my guy perfect. I've been trying to locate his service records with not much luck.
Any ideas??? It has been said that he died in Greenwood Sebastion County Arkansas in 1869.

I've checked the Civil War "Soldiers and Sailers" site and also checked the pension applications and I don't see a James Hefley.

In the "Soldiers and Sailers" site it lists a W.J. Hefley who was in the Texas Confederate Calvary.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
