I am trying to find William Hanson Champion,if he died in battle or in prison camp. His wife's pension application states he was in the Texas 20th Elmore's and she was told he died in Fort Smith,Ark in 1862 she was not given month or day. Is there a listing of deaths somewhere? Any info or ideas would be appreciated
