Hensley's Farm & Gen. Shelby

This question came up on the Missouri message board regarding the location of Hensley's Farm. I was hoping someone could provide more info on this location. After Price's 1864 Raid into Missouri, he retreated through the Indian Territory into North Texas. Gen. Jeff Thompson wrote from Hensley's Farm on Nov 26th:

    Head Quarters Shelbys Division
    Camp near Hensleys Farm
    Saturday November 26th 1864.

    Colonel

Genl Shelby having relieved his staff from duty the business of the Division has devolved upon my staff and such duties not being anticipated they have not the necessary funds to defray the absolute expenses of the command. I therefore send to your Head Quarters Capt McDonald a Quartermaster and Major Duggan my Commissary, with a request that you order a sufficiency of funds be placed at their disposal to bear the expenses of the Division until we shall reach such point as you design as our stopping place.

    Yours Most Respectfully
    M Jeff Thompson
    Brig Genl Comg Division

    Col H L MacLean P A C S
    A A G Prices Army of Missouri

From the 1860 Census:

    1860 Census
    Hensley(Henslee), K. C., Fannin Co., age 39, born @ 1821, in GA, occp. Farmer, Pct. Unk, Dwl#1044/1065, worth 10000/5000

He was a slave owner in 1860.
