I am the oldest living nephew of Tom Burney whos writings can be found on the Terrys Rangers website.
I am not a Texan except by heritage!!
I have restored the cemetery where Tom lies interned with several
other civil war veterans.
I tried to get some civil war organizations in the surrounding area to help in this project,but they all refused.
He seems to have been a hero of Terrys Rangers and they like him on their website but feel no obligation to maintain his final retsing place.
I will not live forever so I need to know how we set up
a trust to maintain this cemetery.

So far i have not been able to shame anyone in Texas in
to thinking that this is their obligation!!!!
