PrivateT.K. Seago CS Hebert’s Brig.

I would like to know where to find service records or any other information regarding T.K. Seago

I have letters from T.K. to Matilda that he wrote while away at war but no other verification. I am new at this sort of research. I went to the National Archives in Ft. Worth but couldn’t find anything other than census reports.

In one letter he told Matilda to send winter clothes (no date on that letter) to
T.K. Seago
Hebert’s Brigade, Third Texas Regiment, Capt. Greens Company

In another letter dated March 21/65 he told her to address her letters to

Private T.K. Seago
Natchitoches, Louisiana
He was expecting to receive a 60 day furlough with in a few days.

Also in his letters, He asks about a Jesse and a Moses. I don’t know if these are brothers, brother-in-laws, or family friends.
