William R. Sedberry, age 38, enrolled in Capt. Richard Coke's Company, Speight's Regiment Volunteers, later Co. K, 15th Regiment, Texas Infantry, for duty at Bosqueville March 29, 1862 as a Private.

He was elected 2nd Lt. Jr May 14, 1862.

He died ("in the field") at Little Rock, Arkansas, January 1863.

Also serving in the regiment were J. S. Sedberry, Merritt Sedberry, and John W. Sedberry.
