Doomas' Company; Bourland's Regt & Wells' Battn

Please help me learn ..(1) ..Who the Doomas Company was named for? ..and ... (2) ..What was in the J.W. Peebles Papers (see Manuscript 3356)? ... This is a very long query. ..Patti, prochette@Juno.com
.
First, part of Wells’ Battalion and Bourland’s Regt. patrolled the same area at the same time, i.e., from Fort Arbuckle, Indian Territory to Fort Belknap, Young County TX during 1864 and 1865. ..Second, both Wells’ Battalion and Bourland’s Regt. have in common the Doomas Company and The J.W. Peebles Papers (see Manuscript 3356).[I could not read this on the microfilm].
.
A further explanation of (A), (B), (C), and (D) is presented below.

(D) Who was Doomas?
.
.
DUMAS, Doomas' Company, Capt was probably L. D. Dumas (attached to Bourland's Regt and Wells' Battalion), A-12, A-15, A-17, A-20, A-25, A-31, A-253
.
DUMAS, J. R. or J. P., b-1821 SC; m-Mary Ann; 1860 Grayson Co TX cen, p184 (1861 Whitesboro Masonic Lodge, TX), 240
.
DUMAS, Lewis D., b-1844 MS, probably the Capt. of Doomas' Co, attached to Bourland's Regt (Grayson Co, TST), A-160, A-187, A-201
.
.
1) Maybe John W. Dumas, b-1847 MS; 1860 Grayson Co TX cen p150; served in Co K, Baylor's 2nd Regt, Arizona Brigade. This tough Ariz. Brigade service possibly gave young John W. Dumas the 'metal' and confidence to organize the patrolling Doomas Company that was attached to Bourland's Regt. ... One 11-year-old boy accompanied his brothers and joined the Arizona Brigade that went to now New Mexico.
.
Yes, I'm suggesting that this Doomas Company, all of whom knew Col. Bourland and his kin, coalesced and tagged themselves "The Doomas Company." I think they were led by the veteran Arizona Brigade member, John W. Dumas who was 18 years old. Also, many Arizona Brigade veterans lived in the Ladonia area.
