Hi,

James Hefley is my ancestor and is listed in the the Texas Indigent Families List from Bosque County. I've never been able to find any Confederate service for him. If he served it was in Texas. Around 1868 he moved to Greenwood, Arkansas where this grave is.

I have heard that the pointed gravestones signified Confederate boys and the flat ones were union. I'd love to here any ideas on this.
