Bobby, I got my papers from this site and I do not think your James Parker is the same as mine...My James Parker was in Co. D 1 Battalion Texas Sharp Shooter, Burnetts Batt'n.

He enlisted in Grayson Co. and he took the Oat to remain loyal to the Us.

He married Rutha Brumbalow in Hunt Co. texas in 1867 in Greenville...He served with her ex husband and her brothers in this unit...

And he did not loose an arm in the war, at least it doesn't say so on his papers/..
