37th Texas Calvary, Co E
In Response To: 26th Texas Cavalry ()

You have all been so very helpful with another ancestor, at the risk of becoming a nuisance, I have another query. We are also searching for records for my other great-grandfather, Richard Humphrey Gilmore. In the Civil War soldiers records, we find two R. H. Gilmores, but we aren't sure which, if either, is our relative. In the roster of the 37th Texas Calvary, Co. E., there is a R. H. Gilmore. Is there any way of finding out what the R. H. stood for, and where he was from? My relative would have been from Anderson Co.
