Northup Hubble; Pyron's TX Cav, Co A

Jen B DeVoe

I have one “Northup Hubble” (no age) listed in an 1863 Grayson County, Texas State Troops (militia) listing as a private. He is also listed in Pyron’s 2nd Texas Cavalry -- Mounted Rifles, Company A. I only study Company H of Pyron's Texas Cavalry - Mounted Rifles recruited primarily from Parker County TX. ..Since your "N. Hubble" was in Company A, he was probably in the New Mexico theater in 1862 later called the Arizona Brigade.
.
Off of the top of my head, I do not remember who Pyron's Company A captain was. ..Please let me know when you learn it. ..I could not find this gent in a census, so please let me know where you find him in the 1850 or 1860 census. ..I look forward to receiving your “N. Hubble's” vital info.
.
Your "N. Hubble" may have been in Bourland's Regiment, Co H. Was he married to "M.J. b-1820 NY" with kiddos born in Louisiana and Texas?

Quoting Jen B DeVoe:
I'm doing some gen. on my Ggrandmothers father. I just know his name was Hubble and died sometime around 1865. Born in Missouri. Would have died either in texas or while his family was in texas. I found a record listing a N Hubble in 2nd Reg Calvary Texas State Troops Comp A record M 22 7 Roll 18. I haven't done any civil war research before and don't know how to find more info on N Hubble. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I trust you will look at my website that describes my 1,046-page book.
