Thank you, Mike, and Patricia, who replied. This is alot of help. I found him in a Family Tree on Ancestry.com, which said he was bn 14 Aug. 1835, died: 22 Jul 1910; he married Lou Beauchamp in TX 1869, and from census they lived there until shortly before they both died in 1910 in Holdenville (Hughes Co) OK. where I found them buried and his CSA stone. I had nothing about his CSA military service, except a name on a roster. So this is very good.
