On his Texas pension application, it states he served under Jack Waterhouse's Co. and under Walter P. Lane's Regiment. No information on the regiment given. Barnett resided in Nacogdochis, Texas.
Warren H. Barnett was born Sept. 11, 1832 and died March 12, 1920. He was a gunsmith and a machinist. He was born in Selma, Alabama.
The only reference I can find on a Jack Waterhouse that Barnett may have served with is a Colonel R. Waterhouse with the 19th Texas Volunteer Infantry, 3rd Brigade, Walker's Texas Division.
Question: Does anyone have any definite information on Warren Hocksley Barnett. The company he served with and the campaigns he was invoved in. Your help would be appreciated.
