OK, I know that the Creed listed is the correct one. However, I didn't see Freil Hale on the list. If I'm reading it right, the one you thought might be Pate was born in 1850 in GA. My guy was born 1848 in Grayson Co, VA.

I found a Peyton HALL from that area...just don't know if he's my guy, either.
