weekend. The reason I ask is I'd realy like to attend and pay my respects to the many men of my home town that fell during Picketts charge. A bussiness man here in Isle of Wight county built and paid for a monument dedicated to IoW men KIA in all wars.
I helped in the research for the men of the CW and was very surprised at the numbers that fell at Gettysburg or as a result of after being taken to Point Lookout. I must say this, I visited Point lookout and was very disapointed.
Anyhow enough rambling, Thank you Mr. Martin for sending me the email. Thank you for your effort and time to maintain these sites. I dont have the knowledge to contribute much, but I do infact learn many things from these fourms.
