I am fairly new in the Civil War arena, and am wondering about the various Civil War magazines that are out there. I am thinking about subscribing, but wonder which would be the better ones at which to direct my limited financial resources. I know there is Civil War Times, North and South, Americas Civil War, and Blue and Gray.

Can I impose upon some of you to give me your opinions on these publications? What I am looking for is input on their content, balance, quality, etc. I also see some footnote their stories while others do not. Anyway, an opinions on this would be appreciated.--Stan
