Hi there! my name is Sandy Lovejoy and i would like to have any info on the virginia's Rive's Nelson light artillery the reason being is that i had been on this wonderful journey in the world genealogy. had been doing this for 8 yrs or so. i have been able to traced my grandmother's family back to the 1800's my search had led me to my 4th and 5th and 6th great grandfather's Leroy M.Campbell born: 7 Feb 1820 in Amherst Co.Va
and sons James K.Polk Campbell born:22 Jan 1844 in Amherst Co.Va.and bartholomew Campbell born:22 Jan 1843 in Nelson Co.Va. froom what had researched all three were in this unit. for two yrs at best. although i was hoping to find a picture of this unit. so i can see all three great grandfathers, that would be so neat
