Pvt. "Nat" Logan, 4th Va. Inf.

Searching for letters, journals, and other personal documents written by or referencing the life and military service of Pvt. Nathaniel Burwell "Nat" Logan, who served in the Lexington Hall Volunteers (Company I) of the Fourth Virginia Infantry. He enlisted in 1861 from Fincastle, Botetourt County, Virginia, was wounded at Petersburg on April 3, 1865, and suffered the amputation of his leg. He died three days later. His father, James T. Logan, was an attorney.
