I am beginning research on a possible ancestor in the 56th Va. Inf. His name was James Henry Hester from Louisa Co. Virginia. He also had a brother named Joseph. I know that the Regimental History is out of print. Is there another resource I could access on the web?? My work schedule does'nt allow me to visit the local libraries. Help.....
