The Bristoe Station Battlefield is on the frontier of urban sprawl. A new subdivision will destroy part of the site, but the developer agreed to preserve part of it as a park. Ceremonies to celebrate the park will be Saturday Oct 14 from 11 am to 5 pm and Sunday Oct 15 from 11 am to 3 pm. More details at historicpreservation@pwcgov.org
