I am researching NAPPERS who served in the civil War . There was a Robert Napper in the 64th. He was one of 38 White NAPPERS who served. There were also 46 BLACK (Colored) NAPPERS who served. There were four common names among the BLACKS AND WHITES - WILLIAM, THOMAS, JAMES, AND JOHN. They were in Units all over. Does anyone know anthing about any of these NAPPERS - BLACK OR WHITE -
