My great grandfather John Mosheim Good and his brother John Jacob Good were in the Confederate 62nd Regiment of the VA Mounted Infantry. They were living in Pendleton Co, (W)VA at the time they enlisted. Also listed at the Civil War site is a J. W. Good in the same Regiment/Infantry. I am wondering if that could be their brother John Nicholas Good who I have been searching for quite some time. We have all seen the fancy script "N" that could be mistaken for a "W".
Does anyone know where I could find more info on this person or the 62nd Regiment of VA Mounted Infantry?
I thought I had seen info one time that showed where the soldiers enlisted, the date and the parents and/or spouses names.
John Jacob Good and John Mosheim Good later moved to Randolph Co, WV and John Mosheim Good ended up in Barbour Co, WV.
