Skirmish at Greenwood Station in Albemarle County

William Hoxton of the Confederate Horse Artillery writes in a 9 March 1865 letter about his battery being placed on a train at Greenwood Station (in Albemarle county), and he followed in the "last train that left the depot, which was surrounded by Yankee cavalry just as it was 'getting underway' ... [the] Yankees firing almost in our faces." According to the West Virginia in the Civil War webpage, these Yankees were the First West Virginia cavalry under Capehart who had just passed Rock Fish Gap under orders from George A. Custer. They captured a locomotive with cars and several pieces of artillery at Greenwood Station. Does anyone have further information on this minor action?
