Re: Seige of Petersburg, Va., WBS and Lee

Excellent site. I had at least 2 great–great uncles from Northumberland County, PA fall during the siege of Petersburg. I think they may have been part of th PA miner of Schuylkill County PA. Of seven males, 4 Johnson sons of John Johnson and the husbands of the 2 Johnsons daughters were killed during the civil war, at least 2 at Petersburg. The one surviving son had received a medical discharge for thyphoid fever early in the war.
