Need help finding any information on the 25th Battalion Virginia Infantry, AKA "Richmond City Battalion". The 25th was originally formed to guard prisoners in Richmond, near the end of the war they were sent out with the ANV and surrendered at Appomattox. Their colors were captured at Sailor's Creek and the Union captor won the Medal of Honor for it.

Any help finding information would be greatly appreciated. I've met the grandson of a member of the 25th. This grandson remembers his grandfather vividly telling stories of the Civil War, I'm going to interview him and write down his memories of his grandfather.
