The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors Database only lists four soldiers with that last name and they are all from North Carolina. Three are Privates but the fourth, Eli S. Euliss, was a Captain in Company H of the 15th N.C. in Cooke's Brigade. Since they were stationed at Hatcher's Run during that time frame he might be a possibility.
