Thanks again. This is good information. He was apparently sickly as borne out by the reference to chronic bronchitis coupled with his death from pneumonia in May 1865. In one record, there is apparent confusion with his son, John Samuel Black, Jr. (b.1853), who died in 1894 and is buried at Mr. Carmel.
