This is all I can find in their CMSRs as the location of their company during the period in question: near Gordonsville July 23,1862, subsequent near Guinea Station on December 10, 1862

On 4/22/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. VA Danville Light Artillery
(date and method of discharge not given)
