Elision Station by Lt. J. A. Carpenter, recorded at years end, 1864, as absent without leave since November 5, 1864, no further records

Note, there are no subsequent Company H muster rolls found in the records, hence we cannot ascertain his subsequent service and possible return

Duke University Library also holds a register of patients Jan. 1862-May 20, 1865
