James Lee b.1774 VA. Married Nancy Mays b. 1770 VA were the parents of my g-great grandfather, Wiley P. Lee b. 1798-1800 in VA. Can anyone confirm if James was related to Gen. Robert E. Lee ? My grandmother swore she was related to General Lee. Thanks for any help.
