I am looking for info on Benjamin Hatden Morgan. According to his obit (St.Mary's (Md.)Beacon 1-17-1895) He was a capt. in Co K. 1st Va. Cav. until the fall of 1864. Afterward, he joined McNeill's Rangers. It states "He was often employed by Gen J.E. B Stuart as a scout....When Gen. Stuart was mortally wounded at Yellow Tavern Mr. Morgan, assisted by a Mr. Bruce, carried the general off the field."
