Anderson’s Co. of Light Artillery (Lee Battery) at Lynchburg, Va., absent at October, 31, 1862 muster, under arrest at Brandy Station, his record contains a note titled Court Martial, dated March 9, 1864, receipted for issues of clothing in 1864 signing with an ‘X’ [his mark], present at the December 31,1864 muster, surrendered and paroled April 9, 1865 at Appomattox Court House, Va.
