I have been trying to find more information on my gg grandfather whose name is mathew hill "washington"-nickname burnett. He was born in 1809 in hanover county and married an angelina whitlock of king william county. He was supposed to have enlisted on the russell county militia muster rolls of 1864. He was with co. f 2nd va. calvary, pvt. I only have that info on him, did he get wounded, killed, or where he is buried? His daughter cinderella married a colonel william robert jones at slah church hanover va. I don't have anyhting on him at all. I f you can help it would greatly be appreciated. thanks rickie burnette
