I am trying to determine if "J.H. Gresham, King & Queen Arty Co. K, 4th Va Hvy Arty" is John H. or if there was a (brother?) James H. in the same unit (in which case J.H. might refer to either of them.) "My man" was wounded at Seven Pines, detailed as clerk to Signal Bureau, Richmond, and appointed Signal Sergeant Feb 1864. Might someone with access to "The 34th Virginia Infantry" please check the roster and see if it sheds some light?
