Could that have been Liggon/Ligon Hospital? That is an alternate name for General Hospital #23 in Richmond, Virginia.

General Hospital #23
Also called: Ligonís Factory Hospital, Liggon Factory Hospital, Ligion Factory Hospital. Formerly tobacco factory of John L. Ligon. Opened 31 May 1862. Used sometimes as Union Prison hospital. Was still open in fall-1864. Employees 45. Location: southeast corner of 25th and Main Streets.

Crenshaw's Battery; formerly Capt William Crenshaw's Co Va Light Artillery; enlisted March 14, 1862 for three (3) years or the war; disbanded April 9, 1865.
It was known as Crenshaw's Battery after Capt Crenshaw's resignation; served in Walker's and Pegrams' Battalions, Reserve Arty.
Captains: William Graves Crenshaw (resigned April 15, 1863), Thomas Ellet (to Capt November 2, 1863, to rank from April 15, 1863).
