I've looked at the microfilms for both units and find no T. or Thomas Scott in the 54th Virginia Infantry. There is a Thomas W. Scott in the 34th Virginia Infantry, Co. K, but he survived the war and does not appear to be your Thomas G. Scott. Do you have any additional info on this Thomas Scott? DOB, POB, County of Residence in 1860, siblings who served or any other information that might help us find this man?
