The 19th Va. Infantry was under General Pickett of the famous Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg Pa. It was assigned to General Garnett Brigade and had service in most of the major battles in Va. You can go to the NPS site and click on the regiments and fill in the blank's, Confederate, Infantry, Virginia and type 19 in the unit and hit search. It well bring up the regiment history.
