6th Virginia Cavalry

I am hoping that someone could shed some light on an issue for me. I realize this isn't a geneology website but both of these individuals have a tie Virginia Units in the Civil War. Maybe someone can shed some light for me.

My Great Great Great Grandfather was William H Menefee.

According to the 1850 Census he was living with his brother Isham Menefee in Rappahannock County, Virginia.

In the 1860 Census he was Married to a Lorena Menefee and living in Ohio. Follwoing the 1860 Census I can find no record of him. I can find a record for her but with a different last name.

I know that Isham Menefee was a member of the 7th Virginia Infantry company B. He died at Camp Widner, Virginia in 1862.
I found the following record on the Soldiers and Sailors Website.

William H. Menefee (First_Last)
Regiment Name 6 Virginia Cavalry
Side Confederate
Company
Soldier's Rank_In Private
Soldier's Rank_Out Private
Alternate Name Henry W./Menefee, Jr.
Notes
Film Number M382 roll 38

My question is there a way to find out if this William H Menefee listed above is the same one in the 1860 Census in Ohio?

Thanks in Advance
