Re: Has anyone here studied Seven Pines seriously?

Thank you Alan.

My interest began recently when I was helping Brent Nosworthy with a chapter on Seven Pines for his new book.
He was writing about a conflict that occurred in a patch of woods south of Casey's Redoubt on June 1st. 3 or 4 Union brigades were attacked by Mahone's and Armistead's Brigades

The details were unclear so I contacted Steve Newton and John Horn and even bought Newton's book. They provided details, but soon I realized that no one really knew for sure who was fighting whom in those woods.

That is one of the mysteries that I am trying to solve.
