Keith -
I really appreciate your efforts on my behalf.
Andrew Johnson posted the following message to me on the Georgia board:
"I've checked maps and other sources, and my best guess is that "Glazier's" refers to what the NPS calls the "Crew's House" [farm], which is well within the area preserved by the NPS. My source is a typescript, so I can't speak for Col Millican's handwriting. The fight was also called "Poindexter's Farm" in some smaller circles, and the combination of handwriting and spelling and unfamiliar eyes may [or may not] have led to some funky interpretations, leading to an answer of "Glazier's". Anyone who has read more than a few nineteenth century letters can speak to the variety of forms a cursive "G" can assume. Someone at Richmond NPS, or the Virginia message board as someone else suggested, may have a better answer as to "Glazier's"."
After I saw that posting, I did some Google searches and I now believe the location was actually Frazier's Farm (sometimes spelled Frayser's). I would be so grateful if you could discover whether Confederate dead were buried in the cemetery near there.
Thank you!
