Does someone have the Virginia Regimental History Series book, The Otey, Ringgold & Davidson Virginia Artillery by Michael A. Cavanaugh?
I have an ancestor that served with Company A, 13th Battalion Virginia Light Artillery, and would like to know a little about this unit's history. This battery seems to have maintained a low profile. Were they guarding a railroad trestle in Southside Virginia throughout the war, or some such?
