I understand that Radford University conducted some research on the Fortifications surrounding Saltville, VA.
I havent ever seen anything else about the results.
Does anyone know if a wartime map was ever made of the fortifications of Saltville and surrounding areas? What Confederate Engineer supervised construction over the works in Saltville? King of Spades
