Dr. Robert G. (Green) Holloway, Jr. MD

According to Ralph Emmett Fall's history of Port Royal, VA, Dr. Robert G. Holloway studied medicine at Univ. of VA in 1854-1855 and graduated with an MD from Univ. of Penn. in 1856. He joined the Confederate Army at the outbrake of the civil war and became the examining surgeon for Caroline County. Does anyone know where I can find information on this gentelman? He does not appear in the NPS records (no big surprise) or in the list of CSA troops of the Library of VA. Can anyone help me find a CSA record for medical corps?
