Thanks! It is indeed a small world. Montgomery County VA where Dr. Holloway was stationed during much of 1863 was home to some of my Camper ancestors.

Dr. Holloway's rank in Confederate military service was Assistant Surgeon, the equivalent pay grade for a captain in medicial service. We would be happy to assist with copies of all papers found in his military file, plus Mrs. Holloway's pension application if you don't already have that.
